Charity given to a worthy & needy person, in any kind as per his needs, in a relentless and respectable form, without consideration of anything in return, is stated to be in the mode of goodness.This kind of charity that is practised out of a sense of duty, not only without expectation of reward or return but also without the recipient knowing who is the giver, is Saatvik Daan /charity.
Renuka Devi Mata Mahur Gadh Charitable Trust is a Dixit family owned and run trust. The family is originally from Akola and based in Mumbai since 1962. They decided to start this trust in the name of their Kuldevi Shri Renuka Devi Mata, Mahur Gadh (located in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra), as their moral responsibility towards humanity and social causes in support of the needy.
This Charitable Trust is wholly for aiding various organisations / institutes contributing to social causes and charitable purposes related to; Educational, Social, Medical, Environmental, Sports, Cultural, Homes for Aged, Orphanages or other establishments, mainly for the relief and help of the Poor, Needy and Destitute People of all religions, castes, creed and sex.
This is an independent trust formed with the objective mainly for the relief and help of the Poor, Needy and Destitute People and delivering the mentioned aid on behalf of and with the blessings of Shri Renuka Devi Mata. However, this trust has got no connection to the Renuka Devi Temple at Mahur Gadh or elsewhere, directly or indirectly.
The trust encourages and seeks generous contributions / donations / charity from individuals, corporates, organisations, institutions, CSR funding, from all parts of the world, who wish to contribute and extend their support for the above mentioned specific objectives. All donations are exempted from income tax under Section 80G of Income Tax.
